Day Trips

The Isle of Harris is landbridged to Lewis and Callanish Farmhouse is ideally located so you can take advantage and tour the islands without having to change accommodation.  Take a day, or more and go exploring.

The Isle of Lewis

The road to Uig and the Isle of Bernera is only a five-minute drive from the Farmhouse, but it is a gateway to some of the most beautiful scenery and beaches the islands have to offer.

  • Cross the Atlantic Ocean by bridge and you will discover Great Bernera, it can be viewed from Callanish, but this tiny island is a hidden jewel in the Hebridean Archipelago.
